Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 September 2026
Sano Godam ("we") provides billing and inventory software for businesses. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and what you can do about it.
What we store
- Account data: your name, email address and sign-in details.
- Business data you enter: business details, products, stock movements, customers, suppliers, invoices and payments. You control this data; we process it to provide the service.
- Subscription data: your plan and payment records. Payments are handled by Khalti or eSewa; we never see or store your wallet or card credentials.
- Technical data: basic request logs (IP address, time, errors), used for security and troubleshooting.
Data on your device
To work offline, the app keeps a copy of your business data in your browser's private storage on that device. Signing out deletes this copy. Anyone with access to a signed-in device can see that business's data, so sign out on shared devices.
Who processes data for us
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Cloudflare: hosting, file storage and security.
- Resend: emails such as invites, low-stock alerts and receipts.
- Khalti and eSewa: subscription payments, when you choose them.
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Shared invoice links
When you share an invoice, anyone with the link can view that invoice until you revoke the link.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your business data while your account is active. Tax law may require you to keep invoices for several years, so export what you need before closing an account. To close an account or ask for your data, email support@sanogodam.com. We delete business data within 90 days after an account is closed, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Each business's data is isolated at the database level, and staff only get the access their role allows.
